Born in the Moroccan city of Casablanca, Othmane Aatik first came to public attention under the pseudonym Mr Crazy. With a passion for rap, he took his first steps in music in 2006, composing his first confidential mixtape, Artiste Bin Droub. After a single, "Music to All People" (2008), Crazy put a temporary halt to his artistic career before returning in 2012. With his project Sama3 l'rassi f's9il (2012), he made a comeback in the Moroccan rap scene, again through confidential networks, before the mixtape Ya khasar ya tkhasar (2014), whose echo reached a wider audience. Sentenced for songs deemed subversive, he was released from prison on November 12, 2014, and the following year unveiled a debut album, L88 (2015). Buoyed by the tracks "Way way" and "Ziyara", he conquered his audience once again with a mixtape in 2016, entitled Laguerrevie, whose songs "Movie" and "Khoroto " increased his notoriety and his place in Moroccan rap. After two albums in 2020, Kacho 15 and Agha, Mr Crazy's rap resurfaced in 2023 with his El Camino project.
