Martell Waiters Jr. aka Mylo Waiters, is an American R&B and soul singer from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He grew up in a tough neighborhood in North Philadelphia, and to escape his daily life, he turned to music. From the age of eleven, he practiced singing and dancing, before being noticed by the L.A. Reid, who signed him in 2018 to create the boy band Project 2one5, disbanded in 2020. After this experience, Mylo Waiters went solo and founded his own label, Blackground Records 2.0, under which he released his first two singles, "Self Love" (2023) and "Let 'Em Know" (2024), which reached number 27 on the R&B radio charts.
