French trio Naive New Beaters, made up of guitarist Martin Luther BB King, singer David Boring (real name Michael Bensoussan, son of actor Philippe Clair) and keyboardist Eurobélix, built their reputation on stage before releasing their debut album Wallace (2009), featuring Oxmo Puccino. The music on this album oscillates between rock, electro pop and old-school hip-hop, influences that the three musicians are proud of. In 2012, they released the album La Onda, and in 2016, À La Folie, based on the single "Heal Tomorrow ", performed with singer Izïa and featuring a 360° video clip. Meanwhile, David Boring directs the film Yo! Pékin under the name Estéban. The band remained in the background until 2019, when Fun Hours was released, featuring collaborations with JeanJass and Ana Zimmer. Then the band made a comeback in 2024 with the album Fvtvrvm, No. 98 in the French physical sales chart, and a new single, "Ye Kou Si Kuo".
