After Yuksek and Brodinski, The Shoes are the new electro sensation from Reims (Marne). Accustomed to popping rhythms like champagne corks, The Shoes come from a rock and pop background. Their first EP, Stade de Reims 1978 (2008), paid tribute to the famous French soccer team. Apart from this regionalist nod, The Shoes quickly became a favorite at parties and electro festivals in England and Japan. After a second EP in 2009, People Movin', The Shoes released Stay the Same in October 2010, with Esser on vocals and percussion. The Shoes then returned to their homeland for the Elektricity festival, before locking themselves away in the studio to concoct their debut album. Crack My Bones follows in 2011. Its successor, Chemicals, was released in October 2015.
