Negramaro

Negramaro is one of the most popular Italian pop-rock bands of its generation. Formed in Copertino in 2000 around singer, guitarist and pianist Giuliano Sangiorgi, the band has featured the same musicians since the beginning: Emanuel Spedicato (guitar), Emmano Carla (bass), Andrea Mariano (keyboards), Andrea De Rocco (programming) and Danilo Tasco (drums, percussion). A product of the alternative scene, the band was revealed by MTV during a contest in which they finished runners-up, and signed with the Sugar Music label for an untitled debut album released in 2003. Following a first gold disc for the follow-up 000577 in 2004, Negramaro's participation in the Sanremo Festival in 2005 with the track "Mentre tutto scorre " propelled the album of the same name to 3rd place in the charts. This marked the start of a successful period for the band, which released four consecutive No. 1 albums: La finestra (2007), Casa 69 (2010), La rivoluzione sta arrivando (2015) and Amore che torni (2017), after a two-month separation due to disagreements and a reformation. In 2020, Negramaro collaborates with OneRepublic for the single "Giorni migliori", followed by the album Contatto, ranked #2. Back in 2023, Negramaro collaborates successively with Elisa and Jovanotti on "Diamanti" and rapper Fabri Fibra on "Fino al giorno nuovo", the first singles from the album Free Love (2024), also featuring Tiziano Ferro, Aiello, Niccolo Fabi, Malika Ayane and JJ Julius Son.
