Neil Davidge

A musician, composer and producer from Bristol (South West England), Neil Davidge has been associated with the trip-hop movement from the outset. He met Massive Attack's Mushroom in 1991 and was present at the recording sessions for Portishead's Dummy. Neil Davidge subsequently collaborated on various tracks on Massive Attack's recordings(Mezzanine, 100th Window, and Heligoland). In 2004, Neil Davidge and Robert Del Naja, aka 3D, worked together on the soundtrack to the film Danny the Dog. Neil Davidge also features in films such as Bullet Boy (2005), Battle in Seattle (2007) and Clash of the Titans (2010). He also composes for UNKLE, Primal Scream and Snoop Dogg. Owner of his own studio since 2010, Neil Davidge admits to working on a solo album, with no definite release date. Neil Davidge composed the soundtrack for the video game Halo 4 in November 2012.
