The Puerto Rican reggaeton artist Ñejo was born Carlos Daniel Crespo Planas in 1975 in the Ponce region of the country. He is best known for being one half of the duo Ñejo & Dálmata. The duo had their most significant hit with their 2007 album 'Broke and Famous' which reached number eight in the Billboard Latin Rhythms chart and spawned a number of hit singles. As both a member of the duo and as a solo artist Planas has had a prolific recording career with a combined recording output of more than 160 singles as well as numerous guest appearances on material by other artists.
