An English quintet inspired by new wave and post-punk, led by singer Tahita Bulmer, New Young Pony Club belong to the wave of new rave bands known as fluokids. Their music, blending danceable electro with pop melodies, won over a wide audience with their debut album Fantastic Playroom, released in 2007. New Young Pony Club retained critical confidence with the release of The Optimist in spring 2010.
