The Nightcrawlers are a house music project from the UK. The driving force is the producer, DJ and singer John Robinson Reid (born September 6, 1967 in Glasgow). The project was launched in the early 1990s. In 1995, the Nightcrawlers achieved an international smash hit with the song "Push The Feeling On". The single made it into the charts worldwide and even climbed to number 3 in the UK. The song had already been released in 1993, but only became an international dance hit thanks to the remix by Marc Kinchen. in 1995, the Nightcrawlers also released the album Let's Push It. Another single, "Surrender Your Love", also reached top positions in the European charts. Further singles followed with "Don't Let the Feeling Go" (1995), "Let's Push It" (1996), "Should I Ever (Fall in Love)" (1996), "Keep On Pushing Our Love" (1996) and "Never Knew Love" (1999), which were unable to build on the success of the debut single. After that, the Nightcrawlers project became much quieter. In 2021, British DJ Riton used a sequence from the Nightcrawlers hit "Push The Feeling On" and turned it into the song "Friday (Dopamine Re-Edit)". This new party record develops into a European chart hit. In the UK, it reaches number 4 and platinum status. In Switzerland, the song climbs to number 2 and reaches double platinum status. In the German charts, it reaches number 3.
