OFB

OFB is a drill rap collective from Tottenham, north London. The acronym OFB stands for Original Farm Boys, a reference to the Broadwater Farm Estate in Tottenham, notorious for a 1985 riot, where many of the members grew up. OFB was founded by Headie One and RV. Working under the Star Gang moniker they released the single 'Youngers from Farm' and then the mixtapes 'Sticks & Stones' (2016) and 'Drillers & Trappers' (2017). They marked their singles with '#OFB' and championed the wordplay of the Original Farm Collective on various freestyle series. Headie had a top ten hit in 2019 with the single '18HUNNA'. Bandokay, SJ and Double Lz then stepped forward to have YouTube hits with 'Bad B on the Nizz' (performed in masks), 'Purge' and 'Reality' in 2018, the songs reflecting the bleakness of street life. Bandokay is the son of Mark Duggan, whose death sparked the 2011 UK riots. Hard-hitting single 'Ambush' followed in 2019 along with the mixtape 'Frontstreet'. In January 2020 the 17-year-old SJ was jailed for life for his part in the murder of a rival gang member in Wood Green, London. In the same month OFB, now down to BandOkay and Double Lz, released the single 'OT Boppin'.
