Oku Luukkainen (born July 10, 1985) is a house, dance, and electronic music producer and DJ from Finland, who became known as the voice of The Voice radio station, worked on Play Radio between 2014 and 2017, and in 2018 was named music director of Bauer Media. He made his official recording debut as a DJ in 2016 with the single “Coming Alive Tonight,” which featured Solid Base and Mighty 44. That year, the compilation Retro Friday - We Love The 90's Vol. 2, curated by Luukkainen himself, reached the top of the Finnish charts. Follow-up singles “Haddaway” (2017) with Movetron, Kuningas Pähkinä, and Mäkki, and “Ysäriboi” (2018) with Portion Boys and Pass & Anss, both cracked the Top 20 of the Finnish Singles Chart and helped establish him as one of the most popular DJs in Finland’s electronic music scene. More success followed with the HesaÄijja collaboration “7300 Days,” which peaked at Number 3 on the domestic charts in 2019. During 2020, Oku Luukkainen stayed true to his collaborative spirit and released the singles “It’s Going” with Elli, “Kesälahti” with Portion Boys, and Pasi & Anssi, and “The Last Night” with Jussi Selo. Only a year later, he returned to the charts with the Top 10 hit, “Just Do It.”
