Oliver Marc "Olli" Schulz (born October 15, 1973 in Hamburg) is a singer-songwriter, podcaster, actor and presenter from Germany. Olli Schulz wrote his first songs as a teenager. His friend from his youth, Marcus Wiebusch, frontman of the band Kettcar, encouraged the young artist to release his songs via Grand Hotel van Cleef in 2003. Together with Max Schröder, the album Brichst du mir das Herz, dann brech' ich dir die Beine is released in the same year. At that time, Olli Schulz did not yet release his songs under his own name, but used the band name Olli Schulz und der Hund Marie. The albums Das beige Album (2005) and Warten auf den Bumerang (2006) followed under this name. Max Schröder is now an integral part of Tomte. As a result, Olli Schulz began to perform more and more frequently on his own. In 2009, Es brennt so schön, the first album under his own name Olli Schulz, followed. People in Germany now also know Olli Schulz as the presenter of various radio and TV formats. After the album SOS - Save Olli Schulz (2012), Olli Schulz reached the German Top 10 for the first time in 2015 with Feelings aus der Asche at number 4. The artist is now a permanent member of the ensemble on the TV show Circus HalliGalli. Olli Schulz also publishes the podcast Fest & Flauschig together with TV satirist Jan Böhmermann. The musician is increasingly appearing as an actor in films and series. In 2018, the artist returns with Scheiß Leben, gut erzählt. He then returned to his other projects as a TV presenter and actor. Olli Schulz did not return with new songs until February 2024. His album Vom Rand der Zeit shoots to number 1 in the German charts.
