Oscar Jerome

Oscar Jerome, born in Norwich, grew up in a creative family surrounded by music and nature. Influenced by artists like Jimi Hendrix and Rage Against the Machine, he developed a distinctive hybrid sound, making beats and playing in bands. Studying at Trinity College of Music, he immersed himself in jazz and cross-genre collaborations. As a member of Kokoroko, he gained international recognition with tracks like Abusey Junction. His solo career began with Oscar Jerome EP (2016), followed by Where Are Your Branches? (2018) and Breathe Deep (2020). His introspective 2022 album The Spoon set the stage for The Fork (2024), his most personal work yet.
