Born Henri Pulkkinen on 26 February 1986 in Porvoo, the Finnish rapper, poet and radio host known as Paperi T began his musical trajectory in 2008 with alternative hip-hop group Ruger Hauer, releasing four albums during an eight-year period. He kickstarted his solo career five years later with debut album Malarian Pelko, released through Universal Music's Finnish label Johanna Kustannus. As well as peaking at number one in Finland, the LP was given the Teosto award in 2016 and Paperi T started working as a music director for Radio Helsinki the following year. Kaikki on värm, the successor to Malarian Pelko, landed in 2018 and saw Paperi T probe the so-called 'second album syndrome', reflecting on the creative process in light of his debut. In 2020, he teamed up with Finnish rapper and producer Khid again for collaborative album HBD RIP, with the pair having first joined forces in 2013 for the Ex Ovis Pulls Non Natis Serò Fit Ullus EP on Monsp Records. In 2023, Paperi T a new solo single, "Joo joo."
