Park Jung-min is a singer, actor, and member of the boy band SS501. He was born on April 3, 1987, in Seoul, South Korea. His career began when he debuted with SS501 on June 8, 2005, with their first album, Warning. They quickly gained popularity, releasing the mini-album Snow Prince later that year and winning numerous awards. In 2006, Park Jung-min co-hosted the radio program SS501's Youngstreet on SBS and voiced a character in the animated film Pi's Story. In 2008, he made his musical theater debut in Grease, playing the lead role of Danny Park, and was recognized as the Best New Musical Talent at the Golden Ticket Awards. SS501 continued to expand its presence in Japan with the release of the single "Kokoro" and won the Newcomer Award at the Japan Gold Disc Awards in 2008. SS501 released multiple albums, including Deja Vu (2008) and All My Love (2009), before their contracts expired in 2010. After this, Park Jung-min embarked on a solo career, signing with CNr Media and debuting with the single "Not Alone" in January 2011. The song was included the mini album The, Park Jung Min, which peaked at number 4 in South Korea. Later that year, he ventured into acting with the Japanese drama Love Song in August in 2011 and contributed to the OST for KBS2's The Princess' Man. In 2012, he starred in the Taiwanese drama Fondant Garden. Over the following years, Park Jung-min released albums such as Midnight Theatre (2012) and 10th Anniversary Memories (2015).
