Party Pupils is a pop / future funk duo from Los Angeles, consisting of pop star MAX (Max Schneider) and producer Ryan Siegel. The pair have made a name for themselves with their bouncy, catchy mid-tempo music and their decidedly colorful aesthetic. Party Pupils formed in 2016, their first collaboration being a remake of the OutKast classic “Ms. Jackson”. The unlikely song hit Number 1 on Spotify’s Viral Charts, an auspicious start for the duo. Soon after, Party Pupils released a cover version of the 1990s Ginuwine song “Pony,” which once again garnered acclaim and popularity. Soon after, the duo developed a name for themselves as prolific remixers, appearing on remix collections for all manner of artists. In 2017, Party Pupils released their first fully original songs, “Patient” and “Over & Over,” and the following year their collaboration with Ashe, “Love Me For The Weekend,” earned them a smash hit. 2020 saw the release of the single “Set Me Free,” one of their most popular releases. That same year, they remixed Saweetie’s hit song “Best Friend”. The duo also released their debut EP Neon From Now On in 2020, including collaborations with Alna, Gary Go, and TOBi.
