Persephone's Bees

Formed by Russian singer Angelina Moysov the year she arrived in the U.S., Persephone's Bees' debut, City of Love (2001), is a seductively leggy pop affair. The critically acclaimed West Coast outfit went on to release Notes from the Underground (2006), an album with an international following.
