Pierre Baigorry, known to the public as Peter Fox, was born on September 3, 1971 in West Berlin. He has been part of the reggae and dancehall band Seeed since 1998. As a band member, he celebrates with songs such as "Dickes B", "Aufstehen!" (feat. Cee-Lo Green), "Ding" and "Augenbling". In 2008, Peter Fox launched his solo career and released his debut album Stadtaffe. The longplayer climbed to the top of the charts in Germany and Austria and received several gold and platinum awards. The pre-release single "Alles neu" is followed by the most successful single "Haus am See", which reaches number 8 in Germany, number 6 in Austria and number 16 in Switzerland. With the Berlin anthem "Schwarz zu blau", Peter Fox wins the Bundesvision Song Contest in 2009. Further awards followed with several 1 Live Kronen, Echos and Comets. Despite his huge success, Peter Fox limited himself to guest appearances over the next few years. Releases include songs such as "Sekundenschlaf" (2011) by Materia and "Flex Pon You" (2019) by Ricky Dietz. In 2020, Peter Fox collaborated with KitschKrieg for their first album. The single "Lambo Lambo" was created together with the singer Trettmann. In 2022, Peter Fox finally released another single, "Zukunft Pink". The song announces the second studio album. Love Songs is released in 2023 and storms to the top of the charts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The album is the subject of an extended reissue with the tracks from the EP Night Ride in 2024.
