SDP (short for Stonedeafproduction) is a hip-hop duo composed of Vincent Stein and Dag-Alexis Kopplin. Before joining the group, Stein cut his teeth as a producer under the name Beatzarre, working with several up-and-coming rap artists. Formed in Berlin in 1999, SDP made its official debut in 2004 with the album Räuberpistolen but their big break arrived in 2010 with the Sido collaboration "Ne Leiche," included in their fifth full-length Konstrastprogramm. The release of the album Die bekannteste unbekannte Band der Welt in 2012 marked their debut on the German charts, reaching Number 51. Bunte Rapublik Deutschpunk, its follow-up, peaked at Number 4 and featured cameos by Eko Fresh, Keule, Weekend, and Bass Sultan Hengzt. More success followed with Zurück in die Zukunst (2015) and Die bunte Seite der Macht (2017), both of which claimed the Number 2 spot in Germany. SDP finally scored their first Number 1 record with 2019's Die Unendlichste Geschichte, which was presented at a sold-out show celebrating their 20th anniversary. Subsequently, the group released the live album 20 Jahre – Die einmalige Jubiläums-Show (Live aus Berlin) (2020) and returned in 2022 with the Montez collaborative single "Wie viele Lieder muss ich noch schreiben?," hitting Number 15 in the Germn Singles Chart.
