Peter Peter was born in Chicoutimi, Quebec, in 1984. He burst onto the Canadian music scene in 2011 with a debut album of the same name, skilfully blending electro, alternative rock and folk. A second melancholy collection, Une Version Améliorée de la Tristesse, was released in 2012, and saw Peter win over a wider audience. His homonymous lead track attracted the attention of France Inter, who included it in their compilation L'Esprit Inter, where he rubbed shoulders with artists such as Étienne Daho, Metronomy and Alt-J. His third effort, Noir Eden, was announced in 2017 by Arista. It was preceded by the release of the single "Noir Eden" and, above all, "Bien réel", which confirms his new musical direction towards electro-pop, still based on an airy, almost asexual voice.
