Philip George

Philip George was born in Nottingham in 1992. This label-rejecting DJ nonetheless tends to practice deep house with funk influences. In December 2014, he released the track "Wish You Were Mine", which cleverly samples Stevie Wonder's "My Cherie Amour". The effect is immediate in the UK, Scotland and Germany, where "Whish You Were Mine" reaches the top ten. In the UK, it even reached number two, losing out only to "Uptown Funk " by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars.
