The Irish indie-rock band Picture This were formed in 2015 in the County Kildare town of Athy by vocalist/guitarist Ryan Hennessey and drummer Jimmy Rainsford. As a duo, the musicians garnered attention with the track "Take My Hand" on social media websites throughout 2015, which led to Picture This's first concert in Dublin. In 2017, the group embarked upon a nationwide tour and released a self-titled debut album that went to number one on the Irish Pop Chart and remained on the chart for more than 78 weeks. The band's next full-length album, Mdrn Lv, was released in February 2019 and became their second number one release in Ireland, while also climbing to number 54 on the UK Albums Chart. Two years of non-album single releases followed, including the number four hit "One Night" (2019) and the number 17 single "Unconditional" (2020). The band's success continued with 2021's Life in Colour, which peaked at number two in Ireland and featured the Top 10 hit "Addict of Magic." They zoomed back onto the scene three years later with their fourth studio album Parked Car Conversations, which shot to number two in Ireland while cracking the UK Albums Chart at number 74.
