Porno Graffitti are a J-pop and rock band formed in Hiroshima in 1999 by singer and guitarist Akihito Okano, guitarist Haruichi Shindö and bassist Masami Shiratama (Tama), who left in 2004. Their debut album 'Romantist Egoist' came out in 2000 and they followed up with 'Foo?' (2001), 'Kumo o mo Tsukamu Tami' (2002) and 'Worldillia' (2003). Continuing as a duo after Tama departed, they released 'Thumpx' (2005), 'M-CABI' (2006), 'The 7th Porno Graffiti' (2007), 'Trigger' (2010), 'Panorama Porno' (2012), 'Rhinoceros' (2015) and 'Butterly Effect' (2017). They have released many singles since their 1999 debut 'Apollo' including 'Mugen' (2002), 'Sister' (2004), 'Winding Road' (2006), 'Gifts' (2008), 'EXIT' (2011), 'Tokyo Destiny' (2013), 'The Day' (2016) and 'Breath' (2018). They have contributed tracks to video games and anime productions, toured regularly and released many concert DVDs including '15th Live Circuit Butterfly Effect: Live in Kobe Kokusai Hall' (2018). Their track 'VS' came out in July 2019. Their 2019 schedule was to include appearances in the Tokyo Dome in September.
