Singer and actress Prilly Latuconsina was born on October 15, 1996, in Tangerang, Banten, Indonesia. Best known as an award-winning actress in several television dramas and motion pictures, she is also an Indonesian pop singer, author, and television host. She debuted on TV at the age of 12 as the host of Koki Cilik in 2008 but soon began acting in supporting roles in series such as Get Married: The Series (2010). She also acted in several TV movies including Malu-Malu Mau (2012), No Woman No Cry (2012), Ketika Rangga Jatuh Cinta (2013) and more. Her first motion picture role was as a supporting role in 2013’s Honeymoon but within a few years would graduate to leading roles beginning with Surat Untukmu (2016), which earned her a Cinema Award for Favorite Newcomer. Prilly Latuconsina’s role in 2014’s Ganteng Ganteng Serigala won her several awards including the Panasonic Global Award for Favorite Actress. Her success on the big and small screen led to a recording contract and she released her debut single, “Fall in Love”, in 2014. She released the singles “Sahabat Hidup” and “Itu Aku Dulu” in 2015, which were followed by her debut album Sahabat Hidup (2016), which was sold exclusively at KFC locations in Indonesia. Prilly Latuconsina refocused her attention on acting again, winning more prestigious awards in the process. She returned to recording with the release of the “Shooting Stars” single in 2020. After a two year wait, Prilly Latuconsina released her long-awaited single “Dear Love” (2022). With over 20 film and TV roles to her name alongside of her music career, she remains one of the most followed Indonesian influencers on social media.
