Prime

Although he made a big splash in rap circles at the age of 27 with his acclaimed debut album, Xander, Prime (real name Amine Mekri, and previous alias PrimeTimeFUT) is first and foremost a YouTube star, specializing in video games. Now a social networking figure with no fewer than 1.6 million subscribers, he's branching out into vlogs and rap. He could just as easily have become an American soccer player, practicing in La Courneuve before joining the French Junior team and flying to Canada. But a serious injury in 2012, when he was just twenty, dashed his NFL dreams. Finally, fate smiled on him when his career as a rapper took a serious turn, with first appearances at the Bataclan in 2017 and the Olympia in 2019. The following year, Prime returned with the Xander project, featuring seven new tracks, including "J'aime pas l'amour" and "Vitesse" .
