Psychedelic Porn Crumpets

Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, formed in Perth in 2014, is an Australian psychedelic rock band featuring Jack McEwan, Luke Parish, Danny Caddy, Wayan Biliondana, and Chris Young. Their sound, often likened to King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard and Tame Impala, is self-described as "an energetic mess of color and tone." Starting as a university project, the group evolved into a DIY passion project, handling their recordings and promotions. In 2017, they founded What Reality? Records to support emerging artists. The well-received 2018 single "Social Candy" led to a national tour. They played the UK's All Points East festival in May 2019 and toured nationally after releasing "And Now for the Whatchamacallit." Subsequent releases include "Mundungus" (October 2019), "Mr Prism" (August 2020), and the album "Shyga! The Sunlight Mound" (February 2021). Singles like "Lava Lamp Pisco" (October 2021), or "(I'm a Kadaver) Alakazam" (August 2023) preceded the full album "Fronzoli" in November 2023.
