R1se

R1SE is a Chinese boy band formed through the reality survival program Produce Camp 2019. Comprising 11 members chosen by public voting: Zhou Zhennan, He Luoluo, Yan Xujia, Xia Zhiguang, Yao Chen, Zhai Xiaowen, Zhang Yanqi, Liu Ye, Ren Hao, Zhao Lei and Zhao Rang, the group debuted with their self-titled single on June 8, 2019, unveiling their first EP Going To Powerfully Burst (就要掷地有声的炸裂), in August, featuring popular tracks like "R1SE," and "WORLD WORLD WORLD.” They followed this with Boom! Rhapsody! (炸裂狂想曲) in December, earning them Group of the Year (Male) at the 2019 Tencent All Star Awards. Their third EP SUNR1SE (曜为名) brought them further accolades in 2020 including Best Chinese Group of the Year at the Asian Pop Music Awards and Best Greater China Act at the 2020 MTV Europe Music Awards. R1SE officially disbanded on June 14, 2021, after the release final album Before Sunrise (我们破晓星辰), marking the end of their two-year contract.
