Raging Speedhorn

Raging Speedhorn are a British extreme metal band known for their raw, aggressive sound and intense live performances. Formed in 1998 in Corby, Northamptonshire, the band quickly gained recognition in the UK underground metal scene with their fusion of sludge, stoner metal, and hardcore influences. Drawing comparisons to bands like Eyehategod, Crowbar, and Helmet, Raging Speedhorn are known for their heavy, down-tuned guitars, punishing rhythms, and dual vocal attack, which combines harsh, growling vocals with aggressive shouting. The band's self-titled debut album, released in 2000, introduced their brutal, no-frills approach to metal, earning them a dedicated following and establishing them as one of the key players in the UK’s heavy metal underground. They followed up with several albums, including How the Great Have Fallen (2005) and Lost Ritual (2016), each further cementing their reputation for delivering relentless, high-energy metal with a focus on hard-hitting riffs and heavy grooves. Despite several lineup changes over the years, Raging Speedhorn have continued to stay true to their roots, maintaining their commitment to creating hard-hitting, authentic metal music with releases such as Hard to Kill (2020) and Night Wolf (2025).
