Rauf & Faik

Rauf & Faik (Рауф и Фаик) are a Russian, ethnically Azerbaijani pop duo consisting of twin brothers Rauf and Faik Mirzaev (born July 7, 1999 in Izhevsk, Russia). Thanks to their maternal grandfather, an opera singer and director of the opera house in Baku, the brothers have always had a fascination for music, which was encouraged from an early age. They began studying music at the age of four, and their training ranged from piano to singing, but was ultimately limited to the latter. However, her classical training is not the only pillar of her musical foundation. They grew up with soul, R&B and pop music of the 90s, Brian McKnight and Michael Jackson, but also XXXTentacion, Post Malone & Sam Smith served as inspiration for Rauf & Faik in later years. Their first music video for the song "Love Remained Yesterday" (2016) was viewed several hundred thousand times and received thousands of likes. The song "I Love You" and the accompanying video were voted the 28th most popular track of 2018 on the Russian social network VKontakte. Her debut album, also entitled I Love You , is released in the same year. The single "Childhood" made it to number 54 in the top hit "Top Radio & Youtube Hits" and to number 1 on VKontakte. PAIN & MEMORIES, their second studio album, is released in March 2019 and quickly reaches number 8 on Apple Music. The third album Youth I (2021) is released on Atlantic Records Russia. The brothers stand out as prolific writers and have toured over 20 Russian cities, Estonia, Finland, Sweden and Germany since the beginning of their professional music career.
