Rawside

Rawside is a hardcore punk band from Germany founded in 1993. The first demo recording, Unite and Fight, was released in 1994. The debut album Police Terror followed a year later. Stylistically, Rawside move between old-school and New York hardcore punk. In their political lyrics, the musicians deal with left-wing themes. Further releases followed with VKJ (1996) and Staatsgewalt (1997) as well as the live recording Out of Control (1997). The band then disbanded. In 2002, Rawside reunited with a different line-up. A new studio album, Outlaw, was released in 2004. The band tours regularly and at the same time takes time out from time to time. rawside released another album, Widerstand, in 2010. Three years later, Rawside split up again. The musicians got back together in 2016 and released a new studio album, Your Life Gets Crushed, three years later. It took until 2024 before another album, Menschenfresser, was released. It enters the German charts for the first time at number 81.
