Remi Francis Wolf was born February 2, 1996, in Palo Alto, California. She was drawn to singing as a child and while still in high school competed on American Idol. After graduating from the USC Thornton School of Music in 2018, she set about recording her first EP, 2019’s You’re a Dog! That self-released collection of quirky soul and funk-inflected pop - which included the singles “Guy” and “Shawty” - brought her to the attention of the major labels. Signing to Island Records, she released the I’m Allergic to Dogs! EP in 2020, which included the hit single “Hello Hello Hello.” The videos that accompanied the album displayed her penchant for visually quoting children’s movies and television shows. In 2020, her single “Photo ID” charted in Mexico. Continuing with the canine theme, Remi Wolf released her third EP, We Love Dogs! in 2021. She followed that six months later with her critically acclaimed debut album, Juno, which featured several singles including “Liquor Store.” After appearing on tracks by other artists – Wallows, Benny Sings, Madison Cunningham, and Paramore – Remi Wolf returned with her sophomore album, Big Ideas, in 2024. The album included the singles “Cinderella,” “Toro,” “Alone in Miami,” and “Motorcycle.”
