Renée Dominique rose to fame through her popular YouTube channel which she started at the age of 12. She was born Renée Dominique Pionso in the Philippines in 1998 into a musical family and describes herself as a 'free soul walking down your street, with a ukulele and two dancing feet'. With almost a million subscribers to her channel, Pionso has been keeping her audiences entertained with her vocal and ukulele renditions of pop standards, in particular The Beatles' 'I Will' which has now accrued almost 2 million views for the young Filipino artist. Pionso signed to Star Records in 2014 and went through the ABS-CBN workshops where she received training in speech, dancing and singing in preparation for her future career. Shortly afterwards she released her debut single 'Boy'. The artist currently juggles her busy recording career with the demands of being a student at the University of Philippines Dilman.
