Rico Sasaki (born November 10, 1997 in Akita Prefecture, Japan) is a versatile Japanese actress, voice actress, and singer. With a passion for music nurtured from an early age, Rico began taking voice lessons and made her entertainment debut in 2008 as Annie in the musical Annie She gained recognition in 2013 by winning a competition held by Teichiku Records, launching her music career under the stage name Rico. Transitioning to her real name in 2016, she released the single "Kasabuta/Omoi no Kakera/Dream Climber (カサブタ/想いのかけら/ドリームクライマー)" followed by full-length album Mabuta No Ura Ni Utsuru Mono which includes songs from games and anime soundtracks that Sasaki had contributed to, including “Imperfect,” a battle song from the smartphone game Dolls Order and “Recollections,” the theme song to Kaiju Club. In 2020, she released "Play the World," the ending theme for anime series Bofuri, collaborating with Koseki Kogure in 2021 on the Yotsumegmi Music Selection EP. Returning in 2023, Rico simultaneously released two albums, akaktsuki and Yoi on April 19 with the latter debuting in Japan's Top 100 Albums chart at number 99.
