South Korean boy group RIIZE, formed by SM Entertainment, consists of Shotaro, Eunseok, Sungchan, Wonbin, Seunghan, Sohee, and Anton. Members Shotaro and Sungchan (who previously debuted in SM's boy group, NCT), were unveiled as part of the line-up in October 2020, with Eunseok and Seunghan introduced on July 1, 2022, as part of the SM Rookies program. On August 1, the member profiles of all seven members were revealed on the group's social media channels, launching the web novel Rise & Realize ahead of their debut, in collaboration with Kakao Entertainment. Performing pre-release singles "Memories" and "Siren" at KCON LA on August 20, 2023, the group released "Memories" the day after, making their official debut on September 4 with the release of their first single album, Get a Guitar which topped the Korean charts. The group's mini album Riizing hit number 8 on the Japanese Billboard in June, 2024, preceded by single "Love 119" which climbed to number 5 in Korea, and charted globally across Japan, New Zealand and the U.S. RIIZING: Epilogue, their re-packaged EP was released on September 19, 2024.
