Rine-K, real name Carine Kapinga Mukuna, is a Congolese rapper born in Mbuji-Mayi. She grew up in Kinshasa, where she developed a passion for rap, launching her music career in 2018 with her debut single. Her distinctive style blends Lingala with hip-hop rhythms, tackling societal themes to denounce the ills plaguing Congolese society. Over the years, Rine-K has collaborated with leading figures in Congolese music, including Koffi Olomide and Werrason. Her acclaimed performance at the Stade des Martyrs during a Fally Ipupa concert in 2022 marked a turning point in her career. In 2020, she released the single"Kinshasa" (feat. Werrason), followed in 2021 by"Boye Defi" (feat. Koffi Olomide) and"Money". In 2022, she unveiled"The Ndumba", followed by"Kinshasa la Belle" in 2025. Rine-K draws her inspiration from her daily life and the realities of her environment, giving her music an authenticity and depth appreciated by an ever-growing audience.
