A singer and humorist, Robert Lamoureux enjoyed early success with sketches such as " La Chasse au canard " and " Papa, maman, la bonne et moi ", which earned him a Grand-Prix du disque de l'Académie Charles-Cros in 1950 and a starring role in the 1954 film of the same name. A man of theater, radio, cabaret and cinema, he appeared in some thirty films and wrote fourteen highly successful boulevard plays, some of which he brought to the screen himself (from La Brune que voilà to Si je peux me permettre). The director of the 1970s "Seventh Company" series died on October 29, 2011 at the age of 91.
