Rock Candy Funk Party

Los Angeles-based Rock Candy Funk Party has become one of the most talked about combos on the jazz-funk scene ever since drummer Tal Bergman and guitarist Ron DeJesus began performing together at Hollywood's famous Baked Potato jazz club in Studio City. Augmented by renowned blues guitarist Joe Bonamassa and bass player Mike Merritt, Bergman and DeJesus have created a band with an extraordinary depth of talent. Their eagerly-anticipated first album 'We Want Groove' was released in 2013 and made the top five in the US Jazz Charts and also broke the band into the European charts reaching number eight in the UK. Follow-up albums 'Groove Is King' and 'The Groove Cubed' were released in 2015 and 2017 respectively and performed equally well in the charts. The band are now a firmly established feature on the jazz funk scene and their live shows and recordings feature some of the brightest talent around the jazz scene today.
