Rocket Punch is a South Korean all-girl K-Pop group created by Woollim Entertainment. Composed of vocalists Juri Takahashi, Kim Yeon-hee, Kim Su-yun, Seo Yun-kyoung, Kim So-hee, and Jeong Da-hyun, the group was introduced via the reality competition Produce 48 in 2018. Prior to joining Rocket Punch, Juri Takahashi was a member of the Japanese idol group AKB48. Their debut EP Pink Punch saw the light in August 2019 and quickly climbed to Number 6 on the Gaon Albums Chart. Preceded by the single “Bouncy,” a second EP titled Red Punch arrived in 2020 and hit Number 4 in South Korea. A few months later, Rocket Punch returned with the EP Blue Punch, which peaked at Number 6. The maxi-single Ring Ring followed in 2021, reaching Number 14. That same year, Woollim Entertainment announced Rocket Punch would be crossing over into the Japanese market through the entertainment company Yoshimoto Kogyo.
