Sabrina Claudio

Born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on September 19, 1996, Sabrina Claudio is an R&B and pop singer of Cuban and Puerto Rican descent. She began her career recording cover versions of popular songs and posting them on social media. She relocated to Los Angeles, California in order to pursue her musical career more seriously. Throughout 2016, she continued to release singles on social media, finally compiling some of them on her debut EP Confidently Lost, which was officially released in March 2017. The EP featured tracks such as “I Don’t” and the title track, which was released as a single. In late 2017, she released the mixtape About Time, which featured the singes “Unravel Me”, “Belong to Me”, and “Frozen”, which reached Number 14 on Billboard’s R&B Digital Singles chart. The mixtape itself hit Number 14 on Billboard’s R&B Albus chart and the Top 10 on the Heatseekers Albums chart in the U.S. and New Zealand. In 2018, Sabrina Claudio released her debut album No Rain, No Flowers, which featured the hit single “Don’t Let Me Down” (featuring Khalid). That same year, she was hounded by controversy when a clip of her using racial slurs began to circulate on social media. Her name was also attached to a second social media account that was used to spread racial messages. She eventually posted an apology. Sabrina Claudio released her second album, Truth Is, in October 2019. She also appeared on tracks by Gallant (“Compromise”) and the Chainsmokers (“See The Way”). In 2020, she released the holiday album Christmas Blues.
