Sandra Lyng

Born on April 18, 1987, young Norwegian singer Sandra Lyng Haugen first made a name for herself locally in 2004 on the TV talent show Pop Idol, finishing in fourth place after wowing jury and viewers alike with her covers of Céline Dion, Jennifer Lopez and Bryan Adams. She then decided to persevere with her music career, and was soon signed to Universal, which enabled her to release her first single, "I Morgen Which Stayed" (which narrowly missed topping the Norwegian charts), as well as another hit, "Sommerflørt ". It was then that her debut album under the name Døgnvill was released in 2005. It proved a great success in Norway, and opened the door to her dream of an international career. In 2013, she collaborated with rapper Lazee on the track "PRTey", and scored another international hit in 2015 with "Play My Drum", driven by a dynamic saxophone.
