Santiago Ariel Barrionuevo, better known as Santiago Motorizado, is an Argentine singer-songwriter, bassist, and illustrator from La Plata, born on May 19, 1980. As the frontman of the indie rock band Él Mató a un Policía Motorizado since its founding in 2003, Santiago Motorizado has been a driving force in Argentina's alternative music scene, releasing acclaimed albums such as La Dinastía Scorpio and La Síntesis O’Konor, which have earned the band international recognition with tours across the Americas and Europe. Beyond his work with the band, Santiago has contributed to soundtracks for films like La muerte no existe y el amor tampoco and the remastered version of the iconic series Okupas in 2021, collaborating with notable artists such as Vicentico. His talents extend to visual art, having created illustrations for various publications and books, including Rita viaja al cosmos con Mariano by Fabián Casas. In 2019, he co-produced the debut album of Spanish singer Amaia, recorded in Chile. In 2024, he contributed to the original soundtrack of the TV series Cromañón with the song "Lo Que Perdí."
