Sarah McKenzie is an Australian singer-songwriter and pianist whose four album releases since 2011 have won her a dedicated following around the world. She has performed at festivals in America, France and Italy as well as jazz clubs in Sydney, London, Munich, New York, Paris and Vienna. Born in Melbourne, she obtained a bachelor's degree in jazz at the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts in Perth and after appearing in the Umbria Jazz Festival in 2012 she won a scholarship to the Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA. She made her recording debut in 2011 with 'Don't Tempt Me' followed by 'Close Your Eyes' in 2012, 'We Could Be Lovers' in 2014 and 'Paris in the Rain' in 2017. Moving to a base in Paris, she stated that the title track of her latest album is her love letter to the French capital. The release, which features other original songs and numbers from the Great American Songbook, also celebrates other European places where she has performed such as 'When in Rome', 'Triste' and 'Tea for Two'.
