German DJ and producer exiled in Chile, Señor Coconut (born Uwe Schmidt) is a master in the art of Latin remixes of global hits. These include humorous remixes of tracks by Kraftwerk on El Baile Alemán (2000), the Yellow Magic Orchestra on Yellow Fever! (2006), or disparate artists on Fiesta Songs (2007) and Around the World (2008).
