The South Korean singer Sonnet Son was born Son Seung-yeon in Seoul in 1993 and rose to prominence after winning the inaugural season of 'The Voice of Korea' TV talent show in 2012. She has gone on to record two albums, 'The Ugly Duckling, Fly Up' in 2012 and 'Sonnet Blooms' in 2014.
