A Danish composer and performer born in Lemvig on September 1, 1977, Sinne Eeg studied at the Esbjerg Academy of Music, from which she graduated in 2003, then took courses in New York with Janet Lawson. After releasing her first album in 2003, she went on to record a series of covers and original compositions, followed by tours all over the world. Winner of the Danish Music Awards for the albums Waiting for Dawn (2007), Don't Be So Blue (2010), Face the Music (2014) and Eeg - Fonnesbaek (2015), recorded as a duo with bassist Thomas Fonnesbaek, Sinne Eeg also received the Ben Webster Prize in 2014 and, in France, the Prix du jazz vocal awarded the same year by the Académie du jazz for the album Face the Music. For the album Dreams (2018), the singer collaborates with double bassist Scott Colley, drummer Joey Baron and her preferred partner, pianist Jacob Christoffersen. She then recorded the album We've Just Begun (2020) with the Danish Radio Big Band.
