Smoke Blow

Smoke Blow is a hardcore punk band from Germany, founded in 1997. In the band's early days, Smoke Blow covered songs by Lynyrd Skynyrd and ZZ Top. In 1999, Smoke Blow released their debut album Smoke's A-blowin' Black as Coal. In their own songs, the band mixes elements of noise, doom, stoner rock, punk rock and hardcore. The song "Circle of Fear" from the longplayer German Angst (2003) later serves as background music for the computer game Tony Hawk's Underground. At the end of the 2000s, Smoke Blow played two concerts as the support band for Die Toten Hosen on the Machmalauter Tour. After the album The Record (2010), things became quieter around Smoke Blow. It wasn't until eight years later that they released another studio album, Demolition Room. The successor Demolition Room II was released at the end of 2023 and reached number 58 in the German charts.
