A female quartet made up of Regina, Mia, Yasmeen and Orisha, Sor4 was revealed during the sixth season of the TV show Popstars, which it won in 2024. The French program, which began in 2001, had several lives before being reborn in 2024, with a jury including Louane, Eddy de Pretto and Alonzo. After making it all the way through to the final, the group won the title on September 19, 2024, earning the right to record a five-track debut EP with producer Julio Masidi. The EP, already ready when the final show was broadcast, included the title track "Comment on s'aime".
