Souffrance

French rapper Souffrance is first and foremost a member of the l'uZine collective from Montreuil, alongside artists such as Cenza, TonyToxik and Tonio Le Vakeso. In the early 2000s, he began his rap career by composing his first lyrics in the family kitchen, without ever considering making it his profession. After working for five years in accountancy, however, he decided to devote himself seriously to music. In addition to his many collaborations, Souffrance soon opened his own record label. His projects include C'est Du Lourd Ta Race in 2008, followed by the EP Le Peuple A Faim in 2015, as well as another EP entitled Cités D'Or and the mixtape Noctambus, featuring tracks from 2008 to 2020, both released in 2020. In 2021, Souffrance unveils his very first album, Tranche De Vie, which is notable for the total absence of collaborations with other artists. However, he does make a guest appearance on a track on the Classico Organisé compilation coordinated by Jul. In 2022, he released the album Tour De Magie , on which he invited Cenza, Prince Waly, Spectacular and Limsa d'Aulnay. For his next album, Eau De Source in 2023, he invited a number of high-caliber artists including Vald, ZKR and Oxmo Puccino.
