Stony Stone is an Algerian-born rapper from Marseilles, known for his musical style that blends rap and 2-step, a genre characterized by syncopated rhythms and electronic influences. His introspective writing, melancholy productions and colorful hair have become his visual signature. In 2013, he debuted with the group CNX before going solo. In 2021, he officially embraced the mix of rap and 2-step with his #Step series of freestyles, which laid the foundations for his unique musical identity. In 2023, he releases the Rouge Red Rosso EP and appears on the Raplume compilation, where he shares his universe with a wider audience. Highlights include "Vingt ans" in collaboration with Zamdane and "Ti Amo" with Danyl, released in 2024. He is managed by Good to Great, a label founded by Pirelli, which also supports Zamdane and Benny from Marseilles.
