Houdi

Houdi, a masked French rapper born between 2001 and 2002 and originally from Seine-et-Marne, is known for his eclectic style, blending boom bap, trap and two-step. His introspective, hard-hitting lyrics reflect a variety of influences, drawing on dark, experimental musical worlds. He began to make a name for himself in 2022 with several EPs and his participation in the Freestyle Contest organized by Dosseh to promote the album Trop Tôt Pour Mourir. In August 2022, Houdi released Woka, a four-track EP with a summery sound, before unveiling the dark La Bête, an eight-track project, in the autumn. In January 2023, he releases the Grhünt #77 EP and follows this up with La Folie des Grandeurs, a nine-track project including collaborations with 34murphy and Stony Stone. With the latter, he also records the joint project Avant les Yeux. In 2024, Houdi releases the mixtape Hood Volume.1, featuring featurings with Guy2Bezbar, Ziak, Lesram, winnterzuko and Dosseh. He closes the year with the album Le Dernier Rayon de Soleil, buoyed by the track Dalida in collaboration with So La Lune, which reaches 3ᵉ in the French sales charts.
